The solidarity gifts

The solidarity gifts

“We’re all better at Christmas.”

This phrase has accompanied us since we were little, when we were preparing to write the fateful letter to Santa Claus with the gifts we would have liked to receive.

Why are we all better?
It could be the Christmas atmosphere. It could be that, traditionally, very deep meanings are associated with this period. Moreover, it could be, in a way, that specific habit that has accompanied us since we were children. Actually, there is no real reason.

One thing is certain: Christmas is the right time to start doing something for others. To start helping those in need.

DiCOmo, as every year, thought to help the others when choosing the company Christmas gifts.

In the packages donated by DiCOmo, in fact, you can find the solidarity gifts of:

  • AIRC (pralines)
  • Comitato Maria Letizia Verga (cookies and greeting cards)
  • AISM (pencils that turn into flowers or plants)

Olivier Chignoli, founder of the company, also donated to some amateur sports centres, to promote the culture of sport and solidarity.
We know: giving gifts is always beautiful, but transforming them into solidarity gifts also gives a glimmer of hope to the most vulnerable, gives support to non-profit organizations and helps medical research, supporting both the sick and their families.

Christmas is just around the corner and hopefully, somehow, we can all actually become better. Not for a few days. Not for the extra donation or for the solidarity gift. Nevertheless, because, even if in a strong way, this Christmas also moves something within us.

After all, these somewhat magical days help us to look less at what we could have done and more at the future to improve.
