DiCOmo saves the earth!
Increasing awareness of environmental problems in recent years and the education of the need to protect our only planet, have encouraged a path towards more environmentally friendly products in many sectors. In the furniture sector, many companies got involved in recent years to contribute to the healthiness of our habitat, as well as to the protection of the environment.
DiCOmo always included this awareness in its DNA.
DiCOmo’s mission is to cooperate only with other companies that care about this aspect and want to significantly decrease and/or remove substances of very high concern.
Companies, with which we collaborate, refer systematically to REACH regulation in order to find Eco compatible products and to help manage the risks of chemicals. This regulation also promotes competitiveness and innovation through processes of registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of these substances.
The list of these elements, which might be dangerous for human being or for the environment, that could provoke unrecoverable effects on health and environment, is always updated and is revised twice a year (you can check it on ECHA website https://echa.europa.eu/it/candidate-list-table).
All DiCOmo’s partners, therefore, are accurately chosen using preliminary evaluation on both facilities and products, in order to offer safer and certified articles.
After all, there is no “Planet B” and we have to protect and hold tight the one we have!
